Adding Lava Subs home theater subwoofers to your existing sound system will not only let you hear the action of your favorite films but feel every car chase and every explosion as if you were right in the action. Installing your own home theater subwoofer can be a quick and easy process if you follow the steps below.
Decide where to place your home theatre subwoofer, depending if you have 2 subwoofers or just one in your current system the placement may change. If you are working with just one subwoofer place the subwoofer directly below the television but slightly off the floor. If you are working with 2 subwoofers then you would place them to each side of the TV or entertainment center.
Connect your lava subwoofer into the receiver. Simply plug the audio cable "LFE" jack on the back of the subwoofer into the subwoofer "LFE" jack on the back of your home theatre receiver. (This will be just one cable which is normally colored yellow.)
Adjust the volume on the subwoofer. On the back of the Lava Sub home theater subwoofer there is a volume knob to adjust how much bass is coming out of the woofer. The amount of volume you want from your subwoofer can vary depending what type of movie your are watching.
Adjust the crossover setting on the subwoofer and on the receiver. The crossover will allow you to determine how the bass is distributed between the subwoofer and other speakers in your home theatre.
Sit back and relax! You should are now ready to watch your favorite movie or listen to you favorite song and not miss a thing.
